Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH) sponsored and convened the “Covid-19 Pandemic Prevention and Control Efforts by Taiwan’s Military Health System” online forum on August 28th, 2021, inviting Armed Forces Kaohsiung General Hospital, Armed Forces Taichung General Hospital, Armed Forces Taoyuan General Hospital, and Taiwan Association of Long-term Care Medicine to co-sponsor the event. Nine topics highlighted and discussed in the virtual forum include aspects of clinical care, epidemic prevention and control, as well as vaccination related to Covid-19. Lieutenant General Jiann-Torng, CHEN, Surgeon General of Defense and Director General of Medical Affairs Bureau, MND; Major General Chien-Sung, TSAI, Deputy Surgeon General of Defense and Deputy Director General of Medical Affairs Bureau, MND; Major General Tai-Lung, CHA, President of National Defense Medical Center were invited to be the online forum’s special guests. The virtual covid-19 themed forum has attracted more than 18, 000 online viewers and concluded with fruitful outcomes.
