National Innovation Awards are considered the most representative benchmark in gauging and evaluating research & development capacity as well as innovation capability of healthcare institutions and enterprises in the field of biotechnology in Taiwan. In order to continuously improve healthcare services quality and demonstrate its fruitful achievements in medical innovation, Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH) sponsors and supports its medical teams in conducting numerous medical research & development projects and continuously advancing their medical expertise and technologies. TSGH medical teams won three “National Innovation Awards” and four “National Innovation Awards Renewals” bestowed by Research Center for Biotechnology and Medicine Policy (RBMP) and demonstrated TSGH medical teams’ research capability and innovation capacity in 2019. In the 16th National Innovation Award Ceremony held on Dec. 6th, 2019, Dr. Shu-Meng, Cheng, Executive Deputy Superintendent of TSGH has led a delegation consisted of Orthopedic Department and six other wining medical research teams to attend the annual awarding ceremony and receive the seven highly-sought-after awards.
