To broaden the sphere and scope of its international medical services operations, Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH) has organized a medical team to Mongolian People's Republic to participate in international medical exchange and offer free volunteer healthcare services to local population with complex medical conditions in a bid to promote, deepen, and diversify professional exchange and engagement among medical professionals of both countries.

Medical team of Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH) to Mongolian People's Republic was led by Superintendent TSAI and was comprised of 8 leading healthcare professionals covering diverse medical subspecialties. Footprints of TSGH’s medical team have covered 6 leading medical institutions of the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, including National Dermatology Center, First Central State Hospital, National Center of Trauma and Orthopedic, General Hospital of the Public Servant, Health Center of the Chingeltei District, and Health Center of the Bayangol District. TSGH medical team’s international medical exchange and volunteer healthcare services provided by its delegation were well-received by Mongolian medical professionals and local population in the Republic.

Going forward, Tri-Service General Hospital will consistently continue its well-established international medical exchange and engagement activities, by equipping its cross-border medical teams with the latest medical technologies and know-how, to the benefits of local medical professionals and population in its cross-border medical engagement missions. Furthermore, Tri-Service General Hospital also aims to attract more international patients seeking healthcare in TSGH and send more medical staffs for overseas training and education so as to broaden and deepen TSGH’s initiatives in cross-border medical diplomacy on the one hand, and fulfil its responsibility as a center of medical excellence in meeting and even surpassing related strategic objectives specified under the rubric of international medical exchange and cooperation.
