Professor Jiann-Torng, CHEN, Surgeon General of Defense and Director General of Medical Affairs Bureau, Ministry of National Defense and Professor Chien-Sung, TSAI, Superintendent of Tri-Service General Hospital were both awarded “Outstanding Achievement Award” by Russian Academy of Sciences, for their remarkable achievement and contribution in medical science and public health. The awarding ceremony took place in Grand Hotel in Taipei on October 24th, 2019. On behalf of Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Yury Anatolyevich, RAKHMANIN, Chief Scientific Adviser of Federal State-Funded Institution “Sysin Research Institute of Ecology of The Person And Hygiene bestowed the outstanding achievement award to Surgeon General CHEN of Medical Affairs Bureau and Superintendent TSAI of Tri-Service General Hospital.

Under policy guidance and resource support of Medical Affairs Bureau, Ministry of National Defense, Tri-Service General Hospital has actively participated in international medical services and strengthened TSGH’s cooperation in medical technologies with international institutions to broaden TSGH’s scope, scale, and footprint in cross-border medical services. Via the medical cooperation projects between medical institutions of Russia and Taiwan, TSGH aims to expand its effort and initiatives in support of international medical diplomatic policies set forth by the government. With cross-border cooperation and collaboration projects in the field of international medical services, TSGH is dedicated to building a leading brand name in international medical services of high caliber in the near future.
