To provide a high quality and amicable health check environment for patients seeking care, TSGH has concluded its refurbishment project for the “Endoscopy Exam Rooms” within the Health Management Center of TSGH in July of 2020, after an 18-month renovation planning and execution period. The unveiling and launching ceremony for the “Endoscopy Exam Rooms” of Health Management Center was officially held on July 30th, 2020.

Health Management Center (HMC) of TSGH was instituted in 2006 and currently the number of patients undergoing health check services in HMC of TSGH has surpassed 3,000 a month. In light of the public’s ever-increasing awareness in preventive medicine and health maintenance and coupled with the growing number of patients seeking health check services in HMC of TSGH, the military medical center has decided to rezone and renovate the entire floor plan of HMC, based upon types of health check services administered and function and purpose of specific health check areas. During the planning process before the actual renovation project, a gastrointestinal endoscopy space and a postoperative resting area were included in the refurbishment project so as to increase the overall health check services capacity on the one hand and ensure the privacy of patients undergoing health check services on the other hand, jointly aimed at increasing patient satisfaction when seeking health check services in TSGH.
