The Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and Weight Management Center provides an excellent medical environment for weight management with its multi-specialty team and universal services for people in the military and civilians under the support of the Superintendent and supervisors across departments, as well as the efforts of the team led by Dr. Kuo-Feng Hsu.

The bariatric surgery performed in the center comprises Laparoscopic Minimally Invasive Weight Loss Operations (including the Da Vinci Surgical System) and the advanced 4K/3D imaging guided minimally invasive surgical system using electronic surgical cutting staplers and harmonic scalpels / LigaSure. These techniques offer many advantages, including:
