Dear uniformed service members and fellow citizens in Keelung metro area:

Keelung Branch Hospital of Tri-Service General Hospital traces its root back to “Keelung Navy Hospital” before 2004, responsible for medical readiness missions and providing holistic healthcare services to uniformed service members and civilians under its care. For years since its founding, even with change of time and associated military reorganization initiatives, mission adjustments, and troop strength downsizings over the years, Keelung Branch Hospital of Tri-Service General Hospital has constantly and consistently contributed to advancing healthcare services quality for residents in both Keelung metro area and coastal townships in northern Taiwan.

To fulfil its mandate of “Conserving Fighting Strength of Uniformed Service Members”, Medical Affairs Bureau (MAB) of Ministry of National Defense (MND) has in recent years invested significantly to increase manpower staffing level and modernized major medical facilities and equipment of Keelung Branch Hospital. Aside from renovating its renowned hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber, Keelung Branch Hospital also expanded and upgraded software and hardware of Jheng Rong Campusand Xiao Second Outpatient Clinic in a bid to optimizing healthcare services for uniformed service members and civilians seeking healthcare. In partnership with Tri-Service General Hospital Neihu Main Hospital, Keelung Branch Hospital also encourages specialists and subspecialists affiliated with TSGH to provide outpatient services or perform surgical operations in Keelung Branch Hospital to provide healthcare services typically offered by medical centers. Guided by the spirit of “Treat your patients as if they are your loved ones.” and TSGH core values of “Compassion, Quality, Discipline, and Innovation”, all staffs of Keelung Branch will stand fast and fulfil call of duty to constantly and persistently safeguard health and wellbeing of all patients under its care.

I am honored to serve as the Superintendent of Keelung Branch Hospital, Tri-Service General Hospital and fully aware of immense responsibility brought upon me by this assignment. Upon solid foundation laid over the years by my predecessors, I will do my utmost and spare no efforts in leading and partnering with fellow hospital leaders and staffs in ensuring Keelung Branch Hospital will safeguard health and wellbeing of uniformed service members and civilians under its care in the Keelung metro area and northern Taiwan.
