About Blood Bank :

	Tri-Service General Hospital Blood Bank was established in 1995.
	Safety and Quality services were the main objectives of the blood bank since its first days, and the blood bank was both ISO and CAP certified since 2004 and 2006, respectively.
	The blood bank staff and manager do their effort to assure safe and effective clinical application of blood components.
	Hepatitis B and C viruses , HIV 1 & 2, HTLV 1 & 2, and Syphilis are mandatory screening tests for every blood component issued plus liver functions to make sure that the donor is not a potential carrier of hepatitis.

Staff and Equipment :

	The manager :- an MD Staff, experienced and qualified physician directing the blood bank over 24 hours, member of the Taiwan Association of Clinical Pathologist, member of the Taiwan Association of Transfusion Medicine.
	Technicians : eight qualified technicians
	Nurses : one nurse
