Following the announcement by Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) on September 6th, 2018 regarding the implementation of “Administrative Measures for the Implementation or Use of Specific Medical Technology and Inspection, Diagnostic or Medical Devices” (referred to as the Special Management Measures), the first batch of medical institutions approved by MOHW for performing cellular therapy will soon be announced. It is widely expected that the newly approved cellular therapies will benefit many patients with cancers and other diseases.

Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH), quite active in the field of cellular therapy R&D recently, held a Cooperation MOU signing ceremony with TradeVan (https://www.tradevan.com.tw/about/index.do?act=greatEvents) in Neihu main branch on April 29th, 2019 and the ceremony was witnessed by Minister Chen of MOHW. With the signed Cooperation MOU, Tri-Service General Hospital and its industry partner TradeVan hope to team up to create a "Cellular Therapy Management Service Platform" to integrate cellular therapy program related information flows, enhance the efficiency and information value of medical services, and usher in a new generation of innovative medicine.
